Rare Vivianite Crystal on Matrix from Brazil - Deep Blue-Green Prismatic Blades

Now available on our website CalderCrystals.com and Etsy shop CalderCrystals

Locality: Cabeça do Cachorro claim, São Gabriel da Cachoeira, Amazonas, Brazil

exceptional, collector-grade specimens of natural Vivianite from the remote São Gabriel da Cachoeira region in Amazonas, Brazil. Known to mineralogists for producing some of the world’s finest modern Vivianite, they feature high-luster, prismatic blades showcasing the mineral's classic dichroic shifts from a rich bottle-green to a deep indigo-blue depending on the light angle.
The sharp, elongated crystal structures stand in beautiful, dramatic contrast against a rugged, earthy, iron-rich matrix. This is a must-have, display-ready investment piece for serious mineral collectors, aesthetic enthusiasts, or high-end interior curation.

Seraphinite, a rare mineral found exclusively in the Lake Baikal region of Siberia, Russia. It gets its name from the Seraphim—the highest order of angels—because of the glowing, silvery-green chlorite fibers that look exactly like delicate wings catching the light.
Looking at these natural chatoyant patterns is like staring into a frozen, enchanted forest. 🌲💚

Absolutely mesmerising crystal growth on these specimens! Creedite is a rare calcium aluminium sulfate fluorohydroxide mineral, but it’s the intense, fiery orange coloration from this specific Mexican locality that truly steals the show.

Look closely at those sharply formed, prismatic crystal clusters and the incredible, gemmy luster. A standout addition to any mineral collection.

Here’s a closer look at different pieces from the historic Greenlaws Mine in St John's Chapel, County Durham. From the intense deep purples, to beautifully pale, glassy purple cubes with intricate, smoky color zoning.
The razor-sharp geometry and fantastic clarity perfectly highlight the unique character of North Pennines minerals. Classic British fluorite at its finest! ✨

Under normal light, this is a beautiful, classic smoky quartz crystal from the famous Erongo Mountain in Namibia. But hit it with a shortwave UV light, and the coating of hyalite opal absolutely erupts into this electric, radioactive-green fluorescence!
The glow is caused by trace amounts of uranyl ions trapped within the silica structure of the opal as it formed. It never gets old seeing that contrast.

What you are looking at in this video is a classic mineralogical "identity theft" called a pseudomorph (literally meaning "false form").
These incredible clusters from the famous Daoping Mine in China started their lives as bright hexagonal prisms of Pyromorphite. Over millennia, chemical-rich fluids slowly washed over the crystals, replacing the original chemistry with Plumbogummite—all while preserving the exact original crystal shape.
In some of these pieces, you can still catch glimpses of the vibrant green or yellow pyromorphite peeking out from beneath a sky-blue coat of plumbogummite! It’s like a fossil, but made entirely of minerals.
Drop a 💎 if you love unique geology anomalies like this!

Available now in our latest shop update. DM for details or check out the link in our bio to claim one for your collection.
